History

1971 Former president, Mr. Kobayashi established this company as the sole agent for Germany Krautkramer GmbH & Co.
1972 Krautkramer GmbH & Co. and Branson Inc. (later K.B.I.) were 100% subsidiaries of U.S.A. SMITHKLINE Corporation.
1982 Opened Osaka Branch.
1984 EMERSON ELECTRIC Co., Ltd. received all share of Krautkramer Group.
Krautkramer Group became a subsidiary of EMERSON ELECTRIC Co.
1990 Opened an application center in Osaka Branch.
1992 Acquired EDDIO Corporation.
2000 Belgium AGFA-GEVAERT received all equity stocks for Krautkramer Group from EMERSON ELECTRIC Co. in U.S.A. and Krautkramer Group was renamed to Agfa NDT Inc. and became a subsidiary of AGFA-GEVAERT.
2001 Started sales of Phased Array Ultrasonic Flaw Detecting System.
2003 Received ISO 9001: 2000 certification. (Headquarters and Osaka Branch)
2004 U.S.A. General Electric (GE) received all equity stock for Agfa NDT Inc. from AGFA-GEVAERT in Belgium. Agfa NDT Inc. was renamed to GE Inspection Technologies, LP and entered into the group of GE.
2005 Opened Tokyo Branch. Established the trading company, KJTD Co., Ltd for overseas market.
2005 Started sales of Ultra Fast Massive Parallel Phased Array Ultrasonic Flaw Detecting System.
2008 Opened the Beijing office of KJTD Co., Ltd.
2010 Moved headquarters to Toshima-ku, Tokyo.
2011 Conducted joint research with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) on non-destructive inspection methods for CFRP materials by the pulse phase thermography method.
2013 April 1: Aiming for the brand unity for domestic and overseas markets, the company name changed from Krautkramer Japan Co., Ltd. to KJTD Co., Ltd.
2014 Conducted an industry-academic partnership project commissioned by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) for the development of an infrared non-destructive inspection method for engineering structures by remote heating.
2015 December 18: Mr. Takahashi inaugurated as the president. The predecessor, Mr. Kobayashi inaugurated as the executive advisor.
2016 Moved headquarters to Higashiikebukuro 3-chome Toshima-ku,Tokyo.
2022 Opened Kunisaki Branch.
2023 Moved headquarters to Shiba 2-chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
